So for these two cards…  I stayed true to my color scheme, but I did change up the style… I was cruising through Pinterest and found this one… and thought it would be fun to give it a go because all it took to make that coffee cup was 2 circle dies!

Here is what i used for the card above:

  • Sizzix- Circle framelits dies for the cup & Tim Holtz Scribbles & Splat thinlits for the heart
  • Craftin’ Desert Divas-  Fancy Frame dies for the scalloped mat
  • Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps- One Cup at a Time for the sentiment.
  • Stampin’ Up- Coffee Ring DSP (cardstock)
  • Disress Ink

This second card I used the an embossing folder/die combo for the coffee cup.  Super easy to use!  Added flowers & butterflies… bada bing, bada boom! Done! lol

Here is what I used for the card above:

  • Sizzix-  Impresslits Thanks a Latte (embossing folder/die)
  • Gina Marie– Butterfly dies
  • Wink of Stella
  • Misc flowers
  • micro beads (for shaker)

Thanks for visiting!  Hugs- Kim

The card I made was a layout I’ve used before… but I thought the stamp image was so sweet and called for a environment like the one I created.  Just a girl laying on her rug with a book, her coffee… and her cell phone! LOL!

The supplies I used are:

  • Lawn Fawn- Quilted Backdrop die & Mini Picture Frames die set.
  • The Ink Road- Katya for the sweet girl, iced coffee, & sentiment.
  • Honey Bee Stamps- Blah Bunny for the rug.

Other supplies:

  • Memento Ink
  • White gel pen
  • Wink of Stella

I love this image so much!  I added the white polka dots on her top and cuff of her pants to give it more of a playful look… and I think she likes polka dots! ♥

Thanks so much for visiting! Hugs- Kim

coffee blog

So my card today reflects how I feel… on a daily, pretty much! Hahahahhaaaa!  This one was fun to make because I just received the coffee bean background stamp today and I was super excited to ink it up!

Materials used are:

Lawn Fawn:

  • A Birdie Told Me stamp set for the speech bubble.
  • Claire’s ABCs stamp set for the Shhhhh.. sentiment.
  • Large and Small Stitched Rectangle dies.

Love, Cynthia:  Brand New Week stamp set for the poor little girl.

Sweet Stamp Shop: Mugging for the sentiments on the coffee cup.

Studio Calico: for the cup.

Rubbernecker: Coffee Bean background stamp.

Other Supplies:

  • Versmark,  Memento, & Distress inks
  • Various Copics
  • Embossing Powder, Black

I stamped out the background with Versamark and heat set black embossing powder.  I then used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to water color the background.  I added more color in some areas so that it wasn’t all the same tone.  I also had to custom make the “Shhhh” because I did not have one on hand! ♥  Too much pink? Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you to those who have been leaving comments… I sincerely appreciate the love! Hugs-Kim

coffee blog

Today I am sharing a card that makes me feel like coffee makes me feel… this card POPS UP!  I love this die so much!  Its definitely a keeper for gift cards, the WOW factor, and because its just cute!

Supplies I used are:

  • Karen BurnistonCoffee Cup Pop Up die for the cup and all the elements on the cup.
  • Mama Elephant- Little Edibles (mini coffee cups) , Sticky Notes (doggy images & sticky note on the inside), and Little Dog Agenda (doggy on the inside cup) stamp sets.
  • Elizabeth Craft DesignsStage It Stencils, Coffee for the coffee beans on the inside.
  • Doodlebug DesignsShape Sprinkles “Latte Love” for the mini coffee bean embellishments on the card front.
  • Stamps of LifeHello paper clip
  • Various inks- Distress, Memento

This card was so fun to make, but definitely a learning curve to assemble the card… I had to watch the tutorial like 3 times!  But after doing it once, you get the gist!  The biggest tip I can offer is to use light weight cardstock for the cup on the inside that pops up.

I thought integrating Mama Elephant puppies into it would give it that cute factor!!! And I love how the sticky note is laying near the coffee cup… its a typical scene at my home, work.. etc!  Thanks again for stopping by… I so appreciate all the ♥LOVE♥ I am receiving!!

Have a great day and stay tuned for more!  Hugs- Kim

Coffee Lovers Bloghop, Day 2… Wishful thinking… ♥

I ♥ coffee so much! Don’t tell my parents, but I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 8, 9 years old! I would sneak the leftover coffee from the pot and add EXTRA sugar and cream, take it to my room and drank it slowly, savoring every sip! Was soooo good… still is! LOL!  Wouldn’t it be awesome if coffee grew on trees or in the garden? It would save me a LOT of money!  So my daydreams sometimes consist of coffee sprouting up from plants in my garden… ha ha, wishful thinking!!! Here is my visual rendition of that!

The products I used are:

Lawn Fawn:

  • Love You a Latte stamp set for the cups & coffee on the fairy wands.
  • Fairy Friends stamp set for the fairies and wands.
  • Stitched Cloud Backdrop die for background.
  • Little Flowers die for stems
  • Stitched Garden Border die for the ground.
  • Spring Showers die set for the sun
  • Fancy Folded Banners for the banner.

Kraftin’ Kimmie:

  • Kimmies Coffee Sentiments for the sentiment.

Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • Cup Pop Stand die set for the coffee beans.

Other supplies used:

  • Stickles- Star Dust
  • Wink of Stella glitter pen
  • Random pink heart die cuts (leftovers from another project)
  • Memento Ink
  • Copic markers

As you can see… I added tons of sparkles!! It would not be complete without it! LOL  I just love how these cute little fairies are sprinkling their magic dust on the coffee beans to help them grow! ☺

I hope you liked this fun card… only in my wildest dreams (and craft room) can this be reality! ♥  Please make sure to swing by the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop to join in, or gain some inspiration!!!! So much talent!!! Thank you for stopping by! Hugs- Kim

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hugs-Kim
