Hello there! Hope you’re having a great day!
I’m here to share this card I made after watching Jennifer McGuire’s YouTube video using PinkFresh’s Magical Unicorn stamp set and coordinating dies. I just thought it was so adorable and had to get it right away!
For this card, I stamped out the unicorn horn (aka alicorn) using some embossing ink and heat set the Lawn Fawn Rose Gold embossing powder. Soooo pretty! I die cut it out and set it aside. Then I die cut two ears using double sided foam scraps I found and peeled one side of the release paper away and dipped it into some super sparkly glitter. (I hate glitter, but LOVE the sparklines!!!) I set those aside and started on making the flowers and leaves. I just die cut some scraps of pink and green paper and stamped the centers using the coordinating flower centers and leaf veins. I arranged them on the white cardbase and chose to pop some up using foam tape and others got adhered to the card. After arranging all the elements, I glued everything down and laid out the eyes to stamp out.
After stamping them out, I wanted to try out that technique Jennifer McGuire was talking about, you know, the Fill-In Stamping technique. I found the lightest shade of gray from my Altenew stamp cubes and found one called Morning Frost. I grabbed the star stamp from the set and proceeded to stamp out the stars framing the unicorns face. I made sure to leave a silhouette of where the unicorns face would be and just went around the entire card base. For finishing touches… I added Wink of Stella (duh!) and some gems to the centers of the flowers. Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hugs- Kim
