Thanks for joining me for some more Unity fun! As you know, I was a Growing In Unity Girl a couple weeks back… well, they asked us girls to come back for some more Unity time with this blog hop and to give another opportunity for someone to WIN some Unity stamps! Please comment!
I die cut 2 rectangle stitched scallop pieces and stamped the image in the center. I did some quick simple coloring with Copic markers in shades of red, pink, yellow/cream, purple and greens. I masked off the image and used the MFT Radiating Ray stencil to add 2 shades of yellow Distress inks. With the mask in place, I also masked off the scalloped border and sprayed some Shimmery Spritz to give the yellow background tons of sparkles. Unfortunately, you can’t see it in the picture (sad face). I stamped out the sentiment and die cut it with an oval stitched die and popped it up on some foam tape. (This sentiment really spoke to me because of how I was feeling today. From sun up to sun down… I was busy.. and felt like I was a slowpoke!) I scored the top of the 2nd rectangle and used some score tape and adhered them together to make a scalloped card rather than mounting it like the usual card front.
I hope you like my card… please keep hopping along with us!
